    What is Bikram Yoga?

Bikram Yoga is a form of yoga created by Bikram Choudhury.  Bikram Choudhury  born February 10, 1946
Calcutta, West Bengal, India.    Consisting of  a set series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises done in an area  heated to 105°F, Bikram Yoga has become one of the most famous styles of yoga, taught to many stars, celebrities and athletes.

Bikram yoga uses the tourniquet effect.  This is explained as cutting off the blood supply to ones veins and arteries to cause pressure.  Once that pressure is release it is flood gate type effect.  This flooding flushes out the veins and arteries.

The application of Bikram yoga should increase your circulation as well as your range of motion.  The 105°F area allows for many benefits while practicing Bikram yoga.   This opens up the your pores, thins the blood, allows the muscles to stretch and increases the heart rate.   All of these factor along with Bikram make for the perfect system.
