Dating Dilemmas – How Do I Look?

12 May

Dating is a pretty tricky proposition these days. There was a time when men were just happy that a girl allowed them to talk to her. It now appears that men have slightly more exacting standards. A male friend of mine recently told me that he didn’t like women who wear nail varnish, women with long toenails (we are talking millimetres here), women who wear too much make up, women who don’t wear any make up at all, tights with open toed shoes or indeed tights at all and, very importantly, bikini lines have to be porn star perfect. He said all of this with his gut hanging over his trousers, a three-day old beard (not designer) and a spot the size of Cuba on his chin. Nail *Beautorial*: WATER MARBLING

10 May

PLEASE READ:

I am in no way a nail artist/professional. The first time I tried water marbling, I failed miserably. This video is the product of many failed attempts, especially trying to find the right temperature water and the right vessel to perform the marbling procedure in. So after much trial and error, I have found that a regular plastic cup and room temp/lukewarm water work best.

Some people may have the same outcome as I did, some may not. So this is just from my experience. Nonetheless, I hope this helps out and answers some questions!

Products used (in order):
Revlon Extra Life
NYX Nail Polish – White
Plastic cup
Room temperature/lukewarm water
China Glaze – Unplugged
Essie – Mucho Dinero (one of my favorite colors EVER!)
Toothpicks
Nail polish remover
Cotton pads
Q-tip
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

Thanks for all the support!
