  • Nail *Beautorial*: WATER MARBLING

Posted on May 10th, 2010 admin 25 comments

    PLEASE READ:

I am in no way a nail artist/professional. The first time I tried water marbling, I failed miserably. This video is the product of many failed attempts, especially trying to find the right temperature water and the right vessel to perform the marbling procedure in. So after much trial and error, I have found that a regular plastic cup and room temp/lukewarm water work best.

Some people may have the same outcome as I did, some may not. So this is just from my experience. Nonetheless, I hope this helps out and answers some questions!

    Products used (in order):
    Revlon Extra Life
    NYX Nail Polish – White
    Plastic cup
    Room temperature/lukewarm water
    China Glaze – Unplugged
Essie – Mucho Dinero (one of my favorite colors EVER!)
    Toothpicks
    Nail polish remover
    Cotton pads
    Q-tip
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

    Thanks for all the support!

@peoplelaurenpeople oooh yikes! yeah i had that problem a couple times! Umm, here is what I would try doing: have a cup of room temp water filled maybe like 3/4 full, and then add 1/4 lukewarm water. If that doesn’t work, i’ll try water marbling again and let you know how i did my water technique!
