  • Louis Vuitton Handbag – A Style For The Sophisticated Woman?

Posted on November 15th, 2009 admin No comments

Whisper Louis Vuitton and the eyes of most women will light up immediately! Who would not, since the name is synonymous with high fashion, quality and class. In fact, Louis Vuitton designs are being worn proudly by some of the hottest stars today, including Angelina Jolie, Jessica Simpson and Nicole Kidman. So, do you want a piece of Louis Vuitton luxury for yourself? Well then, how about a LV handbag?

Besides being renowned for their classic yet timeless designs, Louis Vuitton handbags and purses stand out because of the unique LV monogram, with the capital L and V interlocked. After the first Louis Vuitton shop opened in 1854 in Paris, the Louis Vuitton brand has not looked back.

One and a half century may have passed but the LV brand has remained true to its craftsman heritage and superior quality. Every bag is an art piece hand crafted from the finest materials.

Having an extensive variety of designs and sizes is a winning formula for Louis Vuitton. From the white Murakami to the Monogram Denim collection or red Cherry design, from the small Pouchette to the larger white Keepall 45 that is perfect for a carry all or an overnight bag, you name it and there is one LV to fit the occasion.

Talk about the candy-coloured Murakami design and my eyes light up! My husband gave me a white multicolour Leanor for Christmas and I fell in love instantly with the refined and curvy shape that spells femininity. This bag is made of canvas, with natural cowhide ruffle on the flap, hallmark nails, oversized buckles and leather trimmings completing the look. At about 12 by 7 inches, this beauty is roomy enough for all my essentials! While I am perfectly happy with my prized LV Leanor, I must confess I still cannot resist buying more! My next target? The gorgeous Monogram Canvas Lockit Horizontal for a change!

You will find the right Louis Vuitton bag if you look around in the right places. There are good buys on the Internet, but do be careful to distinguish the authentic ones from replicas. As a rule of thumb, LV does not give discount or has overruns.

Demand to see lots of photos of the merchandise and pay extra attention to details like the stitching (should be even and standard on each side) and how the LV monogram are placed (should be symmetrical from side to side). If the seller is not prepared to provide enlarged photographs, which are likely to show all these tell-tale signs, stay away!

    And that’s it!
OH! Also, if anyone has noticed there are tiny like yellow dots or spots on some of my nails, guess what stained my nails?!?! Those dried flowers I put on WEEKS ago!!

    Here’s the video:www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQGIYKZPFQA

The purple flowers stain!!! So use those at your own risk!!!! I tried pure acetone and it still wouldn’t come off, yikes!!

  • What color should I paint my nails at the beauty salon, boys?

I always thought black was a sexy color for fingernails. Other colors usually don’t work on some girls, but black is sexy on pretty much anyone.

  • What Makes A Heroine?

Posted on November 12th, 2009 admin No comments

Wow I knew I put this question off for a reason.

How to even begin? First, she has to be strong. I don’t even mean strength wise; she has to have a strong constitution. Grit, personality, doesn’t take anything from anyone, basically Emerald La Roe From my first book. She didn’t take anything from no one and stood on her own two feet. Which of course if why her and Max didn’t make it. You know Alfa male werewolf and all.

Emerald was beautiful in her own way, yeah she had a sinful looking body, with fire red hair and green eyes, but that’s when her outer beauty stopped and her inner beauty came out. She was strong, self-assured, relied on no one and took care of everyone and everything her own way.

A different character of mine Shayla is your basic blonde blue-eyed fairy. Ok so she does have the looks on the outside but she is developing into a strong and capable Queen. Next is Jacqueline from Vampires Revenge, she is short, Dark hair, and I forgot her eye color. Well that’s bad, but it’s her new inside that counts. She was a willowy fainting pushover that was an innocent in everything. Now though she is tough as nails, and well just don’t make her mad.

So I guess I choose independent women, who may or may not be a classic beauty. But by the end of the book they are, just from the character they become. Yeah Shayla is a 10 by some standards, and Emerald thinks her body belongs on a lady of the night, which may or may not be a good thing. And Jacqueline so far is a classic beauty, well in her Vampires Eyes, not so much anyone else’s.

So does beauty count? Yes I’m afraid it does, maybe not the same stop your breath beauty, but a subtle beauty nonetheless.

Personality counts more! It always has and always will. It does not matter if she were super model material, if she was not a woman we would call best friend or want to be ourselves then she would never make the cut.

So how do I create my heroine, simple I don’t I have no idea what they will look like or anything else about them until the story begins to unfold. I may decide they look one way before the first word is wrote and change it before the end of the first page.
