Posted on November 30th, 2009 No comments
Product description Good health and good looks often go hand in hand. Cells responsible for hair growth, smooth and supple skin, and strong nails tend to be very active (divide more often) and require a steady supply of nutrients. Many necessary nutrients cannot be delivered to the body externally. This innovative oral spray formula is designed to provide the major building blocks of hair, skin and nails that often decrease as we age – including HGH, epidermis, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Vital Skin Hair Nails works beneath your skin’s surface, at the cellular level, to help correct the effects of toxicity and stress and to promote natural beauty through radiant skin, thick, shiny hair and stronger nails. Revitalizes dry skin, hair and nail growth and helps relieve: dry, aging skin slow hair & nail growth brittle nails skin blemishes & rashes Suggested Usage For adults only: Spray twice under the tongue three times per day. How it works Vital HGH Skin Hair Nails is a combination of remedies designed to revitalize dry skin, hair and nail growth. Amino acids – Building blocks for proteins. In beauty school are you taught to do artificial nails using a fake tip or using the forms, or both?
Posted on November 27th, 2009 1 commentI know back in the day everyone used the stickered forms to make and shape an artificial nail. Within the last few years most people that I see use the fake tip that is glued to the nail, and acrylic is built up. Do people still use forms? Is one better than the other?
I was in high school cosmetology for one year and nails is one of the first things we learned. My teacher taught us how to do it both ways, and how to do silk wraps and repairs. The preferred method is using the tip and acrylic though. -

Posted on November 26th, 2009 9 commentsMy boyfriend has a very bad habit of biting his nails and was wondering if it would be ok if i let him go with me to the salon to get his nails done like i get mine done? I get a full set of acrylics on my fingernails.
my boyfriend has a serious nail biting habit he wants to break so i suggested for him to go with me to the salon and get a set of nails applied.
Help him on the nail biting. But don’t let him get the acrylic nails. Just have him get them fixed up. U don’t wnat ur bf looking like a gay dude. -
Image Consultants – Create a Formal Image to Impress!
Posted on November 26th, 2009 No commentsWith womens formal wear dress the right way and you can project an image get help you get the job or promotion you want, or close an important business deal.
It is a fact, that people subconsciously form an opinion about whom they first meet within 30 seconds, so this initial impact is very important in terms of how others percieve you.
In our image conscious society, more people are consulting image consultants on how to maximize their appearance and derive the most from their image in a work enviroment.
Dressing formally why it’s so important
Today, we are seeing increasingly casual work environments, but there are still many occasions where womens formal wear is required, such as a job interview, or a workplace where a formal look is expected.
Of course, the way you project yourself in an interview or in your workplace can have a huge impact your career prospects, and it is important to project the right image.
Womans formal wear to project your individual style
Getting dressed for the office doesn’t mean you have to leave a personalized style behind though and your image consultant will be pleased to help you get an individual stylish look.
A formal look to impress
Your goal in getting dressed for work is to project a professional, competent appearance. The styles, colours, lengths and fit of your fashion choices will reflect to other people your ability to do your job.
If you are concerned about your career, you’ll be more concerned with looking professional than looking sexy or trendy, and image consultants are trained to help you get the right formal look.
Simple tips for the right formal look
Below we have outlined some basic tips on how you can maximize your appearance.
1. Fit is cucial when you are talking about tailored work clothes.
Trousers should be fitted, but free of visible panty lines. Skirts, especially straight styles like pencil skirts, should be loose enough to sit down in comfortably.
Jackets should fit and be able to be buttoned and blouses shouldn’t have gaps between buttonholes.
2. Traditional career colors include red (aggressive), navy (trustworthy), grey (conservative) and black (chic & conservative).
Most of these colors work well in trousers, skirts and shoes and you can mix black with softer feminine colors that are appropriate like light blue, lilac, pink and stone.
Loud colors like bright pink and wild prints are more risky for formal wear. Ask your image consultant before trying a more risky look if you are unsure!
3. Jewelry that jangles (big earrings and stacks of bangles)are distracting. Opt for stud earrings or single bracelets only.
4. Slouchy handbags look sloppy. Choose structured styles that project an organized and efficient image.
5. Most of what constitutes a polished image is reflected in the finer details:
Manicured nails, run-free hose, clean and scuff free shoes, neat hair.
Make sure that everything creates the right impression, not just your clothes.
Looks to avoid with formal wear are:
6. Don’t try and be too sexy! Avoid the following: See-through lace, miniskirts, over the top high stilettos, in your face designer labels, leather and to much jewellery.
7. If it’s a formal working environment you should obviously avoid: Casual: jeans, shorts, T-shirts, hats, trainers etc
8. Make sure your clothes fit and avoid looking sloppy: wrinkled clothing, too many layers, baggy-fit clothing all create a bad image.
Image consultants – how they can help you
A good image consultant can not only advise you on what to wear and what not to wear from your own wardrobe, but they can also provide a personal shopper to help you choose new clothes that will really maximize your potential.
Most image consultants also provide tips on make up and beauty, so you can look and feel more confident.
